Meet Misted Forest 

Yoga teacher, mindfulness guide and holistic health practitioner 

Misted Forest (Misty) is an artist and healing movement teacher ( Trained at College of San Mateo, Skyline College, San Francisco State University and RISE Yoga for Youth and Trauma Sensitive yoga through TCTSY) .

Through Performance art she tells transformative stories and in her classes she guides students to balance their bodies and minds. Her purpose in life is to awaken and empower people to heal themselves through Psychology, somatic healing and spirituality. She educates the public on mental health in hopes to end stigma and is most known for her work with the neurodiverse community. She will be attending Naropa University to get her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology starting in the fall.


Through her own healing journey of chronic fatigue, depression, ADHD and PTSD she has found body positivity, meditation and self love to be some of her biggest tools for recovery. If you want to learn yoga from someone who gets it, look no further.

Fatigue can be caused by many issues. As a survivor a 4 year battle with chronic fatigue I have a lot to share. It's amazing how many things can cause fatigue, and thus I take a holistic approach. 


Meditation improves our focus and or what we focus on. I always do meditation in my classes. Ask me more about it.

Our sense of self directly impacts how we show up in the world. The risks we take or don't take and the choices we make. Let the power of yoga and mindfulness empower you to choose life.
